Burn A New Candle For 3-4 Hours Minimum

Feb 13, 2023

I am a big candle person.  Always have been.  Also love incense.  Every day nag champa incense and candles are burning at the happy white pineapple πŸ˜Šβœ¨πŸŒŸπŸ’«πŸ (our home in Barrington Rhode Island) beginning at about 4 am.

How did I never know that when you first burn a candle, you should burn it for at lest 3-4 hours?  Well, I didn't.  Now I do.  My 19 year old Sagey told me.  She knows it all.  πŸ˜‰

This is a metaphor for life.  And for the Law of Attraction.  I see the world through my Law of Attraction lens and what a world it is!  I invite you to join me. πŸ˜Š

Here's my take on the candle thing.  (As always, take what you want and leave the rest.)  When you first get an idea/ a brainstorm, an epiphany...it's not even half-baked, it's not even close to that!  You're just starting to think about which ingredients you'll be putting into this cake of creation.  So don't talk about it yet...don't go asking the peanut gallery about what ingredients you should choose, what flavor - vanilla or chocolate? - how long to bake it, etc.  Let it sit. Meditate on it.  Let the ideas and epiphanies continue to come.  When you're in alignment they will.  And as they come, notice if it feels fun to take action.  If it doesn't, wait.  Divine timing. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ’«πŸŒˆπŸ˜Š  No action taken out of alignment can compensate for a lack of alignment.  In general, if you're not feeling good and in the Vortex and you take action you're not going to like the results.  I coach a lot of authors with writer's block.  They're trying to force themselves to write.  So are their publishers.  I tell them, "Sure, force it!  Motivate yourself (vs. inspire yourself)!  Push it!  It will get done, and no one will buy it or read it.  OR, wait until you're in alignment and then the words will flow and it will be a best seller."

So every creation is like the new candle...let it burn a while to let it take its form, its shape so that it can and will take the form it was meant to take and you can enjoy it - and the process - longer.

You never get it done and you can't get it wrong so it's more about the creating of the cake than the actual cake in the end, anyway.  Because once it's baked, you'll be moving on to another creation/cake/candle.  Something that makes your heart sing.  Because that's what we're here for:  freedom, joy, growth and to flow the energy that creates worlds through us in a way that lights us up.
