EQUANIMITY: Can You Stay Calm (and Laugh!) in a Difficult Moment (Contrast)?

Yesterday I was WICKED in the Vortex! Wahoooo!! ππβ¨π« I coached up a storm early early - before I got my Chickens π£π£π£π£π£ off to school. Then had a delightful breakfast with them and HH and we all walked to the bus. Then I coached some more - was flying high and had so much momentum ( I LOVE TO COACH!). I was chatting with my HH in the kitchen having a snack before my next client and then BOOM! A thought came in, not a terrible terrible thought, but eh, not the BEST EVER, either. While having this unsavory thought I was running upstairs to change out of sweaty clothes mid-sentence with HH, excited to finish the sentence (we are very in sync and love to chat chat chat between our stuff and share epiphanies and bask in and create with our focus)...and as I was changing, I snapped my brand new sterling silver necklace off my neck. It broke and my three charms flew across the floor of my walk-in closet.
And here's the moment! Do you:
A. Get pissed, tense up your body and continue to generate energy which will create more of what you don't like?
B. Get upset about the material thing that you just got in the mail yesterday which is now broken and tense up your body and generate energy which will create more of what you don't like?
C. Get upset and/or pissed and tense up your body and/but stuff the feelings and put a phony smile on your face and pretend you're not having those (understandable!) feelings?
or
D. Take STEP 5 and relax in your body, relax your jaw and all the muscles on your face, laugh and say, "Yup, that's about right!" noting the thought you'd just had, what happened, and knowing that it's all right, you'll take the bounce, you learned and All is Wells.ππβ€οΈππ» And quick as a bunny, you’re soothing yourself with words like, “It’s all right, it’s just a material thing and it was just $15 on Amazon and I can order another one now and the seller will be so excited! β¨πβ¨ I like to help others generate abundance.” And the momentum begins and more thoughts come on this general theme: “It’s good that I caught it in the early subtle stages (the thought). It’s good that my Inner Being gave me a heads up to cut that out ha ha…."
HINT HINT: Choose D!
“But how do you choose D in the moment though, Taylor? That’s hard to do!”
ANSWER: Practice.
I work with a wonderful couple and their story is TO LIVE FOR and yesterday when I said to my client's fiancé, “It’s all right that you feel unworthy of his love and this magical fairy tale you guys are living (they are!), just practice thoughts of worthiness until they come naturally,” my client said, “Don’t practice it, LIVE it.”
Hmmmm. I said, “Yes, that’s great. That’s just fine. Those words work, too!”
Words are just words. It’s the energy that matters. This client before working with me: A. Was an atheist. B. Didn’t believe in emotions and C. Purposefully didn’t have any “attachments” - including but not limited to a kitty or dog. This was “on purpose.” He chose this and, manifested it quite well. Now he has the fiancé of his dreams (they were high school sweethearts!), a stepson, two kitties and he’s just getting started! So his words, “LIVE it” are in his nomenclature for how he has lived his life in the world of business, which he nailed - and retired at 50, as he manifested to a T. So it isn’t the words that matter so much - it’s the feeling and the energy.
So it’s up to you the words you choose. I personally like the word “practice” because I come from a sports background (trained to go pro in tennis, lived with tennis coach for a year at age 13) and am a dedicated yogi (practice Prana Power Yoga β¨ππ»β¨ every morning) so for me, practice fits. The word(s) don’t matter, it’s how they make you feel.
So whether you wanna use the word PRACTICE or LIVE it…do it daily, ok? ππ
PRO TIP:
If you are out of alignment today/any day, go general.
• Say things like but not limited to (you are going for soothing and relief, not solving anything):
• - I am getting better and better at this.
• - Things are taking care of themselves.
• - Law of attraction is managing my every intention.
• - Everything important will take care of itself.
• - I know the path will light up for me.
• - I am learning to expect outside of what is happening.
• - It’s all right.
• - I'm all right.
• - It’s fine. I’m fine. Everything is fine.
• - Things are always working out for me.
• - The Universe supports me in all I do.
• - Everything is unfolding as it should.
• - The Universe has already created it.
• - My Universal Team takes care of everything.
• - The Universe sends me what I want and what I’m ready for.
• - I am ready for this or it would not be.
• - I am getting ready to be ready to be ready to be ready. And Taylor and the Academy Community is helping me and we are in this together.
