Negative Beliefs, Part 2

Jan 30, 2024
This is about how to allow your brain to work in the clearest way possible - in the most aligned way with who you truly are - by clearing out the belief systems and definitions that have nothing to do with you.  The beliefs you have inherited.  The beliefs and perspectives you have had handed down to you.  The beliefs and perspectives that come from other people and are not authentic to you.  The diagram helps you understand how beliefs are structured so you can understand your utilization of these belief mechanisms.  Look at this diagram a few times every day.

Positive beliefs are expansive.   All beliefs have a mechanism within them that makes them self perpetuating.  Beliefs have to do this because by definition, beliefs are ephemeral, so if they didn’t have a self-reinforcing component, you wouldn't be able to have a sustained perpetual experiential reality within that belief.  You wouldn't be able to see the manifestation of that belief if the belief didn’t constantly perpetuate itself because the belief is constantly being chosen second to second to second to second.  Yes, you choose your beliefs, again and again.  Good to know!  Why?  Because you have a choice.

It may seem as if -  in the illusion you create of continuity in space time - that once you have chosen a belief, it’s the same belief rolling along moment to moment, but that’s not what's happening.  The perpetuation of the belief is designed to inspire you to continue to choose the same belief again in the next moment because in the next moment it is a whole new reality.  You actually have to keep choosing the belief every single nano second in order to have the experience of ongoing perpetuation.  So the idea of the self-perpetuating mechanism in a belief is not that it has an automatic momentum that carries it through space time - it’s that it has an automatic perpetuation mechanism that makes it seem like the thing you "should" keep choosing over and over again.  MIND BLOWER:  as you do that (choose it again and again) you are actually creating a new reality - new reality - new reality - new reality.  But if you are in a sense buying into the perpetuation mechanism of that belief - positive or negative - then what you’re doing is creating a new reality every moment that looks very much like the reality you created a moment ago.  Different places, different faces, same reality.  As you continue doing this you create the illusion that it is the same reality and only changes slightly instead of understanding that it’s a completely different reality that has changed completely, except you’re making it seem like it hasn’t by allowing yourself to buy into the rationale in the perpetuation mechanism that says that it must be created again and again and again.  If it’s a positive belief, it’s representative of your authentic self so you don’t mind this.  But where you have challenge is where you don’t understand why you’re recreating the negative beliefs that you keep creating again and again and again.  This explains why!

Look at the diagram:  positive beliefs are more simply structured because they’re in alignment with your true authentic vibration, so they don’t need to be complicated or use a bag of tricks.  Negative beliefs, on the other hand, are not in alignment with your true authentic vibration, so they need a big bag of tricks to sustain themselves.  These negative beliefs segregate, dissociate, compartmentalizes rigid-ize and separate.  Any wonder why it feels so crappy to have them?  Thus they attempt to seduce you to go from the fluid ever expanding positive circular structure of the positive beliefs’ structure to the rigid crystalized structure with a big bag of tricks by making it seem like the thing to keep choosing again and again.  So you need to recognize what those tricks are so you can choose to create a different belief other than the negative one, which is begging you to choose it.  Begging you!  So tacky, as my Mom used to say. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

One of the first thing that is clearly different between the positive and negative beliefs is that the positive always brings with it the ability to choose - and the negative do not.  Fear based beliefs lock into your physical survival instinct to perpetuate the idea that if you don’t follow this belief, if you don’t perpetuate this belief, you will die.  So it relies heavily on tricking you into believing that if you change that belief there will be nothing left of you – that the belief is all consuming and all representative of your true self.  This is one of the first tricks it has up its little sleeve to seduce you to perpetuate it and perpetuate it and perpetuate it.  This little trick magnifies the fear of survival, so you feel you must buy into it so you will survive.

The second thing that happens when you flip into a negative fear-based belief is it must reach into its little bag of tricks and make it seem like it’s not possible to change it.  It tells you that it doesn’t have the ability to be changed.  It must be perpetuated by its unchangeable nature.  It traps you in a vicious circle of false beliefs that there is no way out.  The very structure of the mechanism says there’s nowhere else to go, it is eternal, it cannot change.  Look again at the diagram:  it is structured very much like a virus.  Interesting when you reflect back to 2020.

The negative belief also recognizes that it is fighting against a perpetual relentless stream of information from the higher self/mind attempting to reach your inner being because your higher mind is always sending information, light, and guidance to guide you back to your natural self.  Always. Within the yin and yang there is always the opportunity to go in the opposite direction.  Within the dark there is always the doorway that leads to the light.  But when you’re in the light you understand that the door to the dark is just a choice.  And you can choose not to go there.

When you’re in the dark, from the dark’s perspective, the door to the light is something to be avoided at all costs.  So it disguises the doorway with an illusion of unchangeability so you won’t see the doorway to the light.  The door to the light becomes invisible to your consciousness because when you are not at that vibration you cannot see it.  When you are in the light/higher vibration, you can see all the doors and choices, and choose.  From the dark it seems that there is no choice at all.

The negative belief tells you that you don’t have a choice to go back to the light.  The array of tools it uses to take your attention off that doorway that leads to the light are like a viral cell (as I mentioned above) – structured like electrons around the nucleus of an atom.  And it will constantly switch back and forth and use these in a variety of ways to constantly keep you off balance so you cannot see the door to the light.  The negative belief uses a variety of mechanisms such as:
  • Projection
  • Rejection of ideas
  • Paranoia so you don’t believe what people are saying when they’re trying to help you
  • Avoiding all information that will benefit you by projecting it from a dark vibration
  • Seeing everything in a negative light.

All these things work together to keep you off balance - until now!  Because now you see that this structure exists.  This is where the phrase “Knowledge is power” comes into play.  The very illumination of this structure can give you an edge over it.  Because once you’ve identified the structure of the negative belief, once it becomes transparent to you and you understand all its tricks, you have your power back because something happens to that structure.  You gain a perspective, and by having this diagram seed into your brain and start rewiring the recognition of the structure, the structure becomes illogical and nonsensical.  You start to see your relative position to the structure, and you understand it’s nothing but an illusion, a filter, a template overlaying the idea of your true self.  And you start seeing yourself being fooled and tricked into believing all the things it’s trying to get you to believe to perpetuate itself from moment to moment to moment to moment.

My favorite trick of negative belief is its utilization of reward.  Talk about a paradox!   This is one of its most insidious little tricks.  Negative beliefs will actually use positive reinforcement to reward you for buying into the negative belief so that you’ll then only recognize it as the thing to do.  It uses the motivational mechanism, attaching an apparently positive result for choosing the negative path, and makes you feel safe and protected for choosing the negative path/belief.

So in recognizing that it uses all these tricks, you can take specific negative belief ideas and examine them and find out what that belief is.  For example, put the false negative belief “I am not good enough” in the center of the negative belief diagram to see how all the tricks are used to keep you holding onto that false negative belief, to make it seem rationalized and justified.  The negative belief forces you to not look for the reality that you are good enough. The false belief rewards you to develop the paranoia that forces you to not look for the reality where you are good enough. One of the most insidious ways it has to force you to go in that direction is to make you believe that if you go look for the positive side of that belief you won’t find it because there is no such thing - it can’t be true - and thus when you go looking and find out it doesn’t exist, you will then be disappointed and find out you really are not good enough.  Oh no!  So (it says, slyly) to avoid that reinforcement of the negative self at all cost, you should stay in the negative belief/self that I am not good enough.  It deludes you into believing it’s best to stay in the negative belief that you are in because the negative you’re in is at least better than proving that the negative is actually true.  It’s using itself to reinforce itself.  “At least here you have a shadow of a doubt that it might not be true.  But if you go looking to see if you are good enough then it will be proven that you are not.  So at least stay here and hold on to that tiny crumb of a doubt.  At least you’ll survive.  Miserably, but you’ll survive.  If you go looking you will not survive.  Because how could you survive knowing that you don’t belong on planet Earth?  You can’t, says negative belief.  So stay here with that little doubt that maybe it’s not true.  This is safer and at least here you are alive as miserable as you are, but alive nonetheless.  So keep perpetuating the false belief that you are not good enough.  Yes, stay here again and again and again and again and keep choosing the negative belief.”

But now with this diagram you can see the tricks the negative belief is using to create the illusion that you must perpetuate the it.  This diagram will begin to imprint itself in your neurological net just by looking at it.

From this point forward you will not forget that this bag of tricks is being used on you when you succumb to a negative belief.  And that will give you an edge so when you find yourself falling into a negative belief, you will remember this template and remember, “Wait a minute…I am getting a whisper from my inner being that this might be a trick....”

You’ll start remembering that the bag of tricks is being used on you.  You will realize the nonsense of it.  You will recognize that it’s just a belief like any other belief.  You will understand that you don’t have to believe what it’s telling you, that you can believe what you prefer.  You will know that you can switch over to the positive belief system - that you have freedom, you can have growth, you can have choice, inspiration, positive synchronicity, and you can expand and see through the illusion that the negative belief is desperately trying to get you to believe.

Please understand that the negative belief will never die.  It will become equalized as one of many beliefs you may choose from and/but now that it is equal to any other choice. You can choose what you prefer instead.  You will simply choose what you prefer because you have a choice.  Expansion is inclusion, not exclusion:  this and that.

Even a tiny crack in the plan of the negative belief system and its bag of tricks will be enough to let you see the doorway out, the doorway to the light. And that is all that is needed, the ability to know that that doorway exists in the dark. That’s all you need to start moving toward that doorway.
