They Filled Our Potholes for FREEEEE!

We had had pot holes on our driveway for a long time. We have a long list of to do’s at the happy white pineapple πβ¨ππ«π and that was not #1 on that list ha ha.
There had been construction out in front of π228 Rumstick Road ~ Barrington, Rhode Island ~ 02806π for 4 weeks. A sewer thing. We’d been told that there was two weeks to go.
I would say hi to the guys out there working every day, many times a day, while I walked and coached. Aspen (our white Siberian husky) did too. ππ
One day a dude from the sewer project was putting something on our driveway and I said hi and he seemed startled and afraid. I asked nicely if the water would be turned on again soon (it had been off for 15 minutes during morning routine before school bus drop off). He was nervous and shaky while he spoke. I looked in his eyes, breathed, surrounded him with the white light and smiled a lot. He calmed down. β¨β€οΈβ¨ He was very relieved.
An hour later the doorbell rang. It was he, the dude who I had spoken to on the driveway about the water shut off. He said that they were going to fill our potholes with asphalt for us. Just because.
