Have you ever played Twister? You know how you spin that colorful wheel?
Thatâs what the Law of Attraction is like! Itâs like, âWhere are you gonna focus? Spin the wheel! Now Iâm gonna send you what you landed on!â (Thatâs the Universe talking).
And the more that little black arrow points to (fill in the blank) the more Iâm gonna send you more of (fill in the blank).
This is how people create without knowing theyâre doing it and then ask me, âBut Taylor, WHY would I attract THAT? I donât want THAT!â
You spun the wheel and it landed on âthatâ again and again and again and again and you were just unaware. But now you are.
Have you ever gotten into a really hot tub of water and been like, âOooooh, too hot.â
But then you sat there for a bit and you acclimated. Soon it didnât feel too hot.
This is the same thing. You acclimate to a vibration and you donât even know youâre doing it and then that becomes your new ânormal.â Then the Law of Attraction sends you people, places and things that match it. Over and over and over and over, unless you deliberately spin the wheel to another person/place/thing/focus. This is how momentum begins and then you become a sloppy lazy thinker. Even though the thought feels bad, you keep going there because the easiest thought to think is the thought you keep thinking. More momentum. Now, youâve got a whole festival going onâŠpeople, places and things, all matching that vibration.
So, youâre screwed.

Youâre not screwed and you didnât screw up! Contrast is there to teach. Itâs there to teach you what you donât prefer, so you know what you DO prefer. Contrast is an opportunity for growth and the ability to accrue discernment.
Once you know what you don't prefer, the key is to turn that dialâŠspin that wheel toward that which you DO prefer. And turn away from the contrast (what you donât prefer), because it's not relevant anymore.
Hey, you canât go from shitty to giddy. Itâs a quantum leap and it just doesnât happen and even if it did it would feel like too much at once. You to shift incrementally - one thought at a time. So right now, soften that next thought. Shift your focus. Go general. And...when a thought comes up that you do not prefer, dig deeper to find the belief that is the root of the thought and the emotion. Remember BETA: the belief is first, then the emotion, then the thought and then the action.
To go general, you may choose to say things like:
âWell, I know how this works now and I choose to shift one thought at a time.â
âI choose my focus.â
âI choose to put that crappy thought in the âinactive box.ââ
âI purposefully choose whatâs trending in my mind.â
âI know I can get the hang of this.â
âIt feels fun to think that just by shifting my focus, and uncovering the beliefs which cause the negative focus, I shift what happens in my life.â
âIt feels hopeful to know I have this community which will help me in this process.â
âIt feels good when Taylor says, âWeâre in this together!"
