BEST LIFE INspiration

Year of the Hare

When my HH's mom sold her home on Nantucket in the thick of COVID after 34 years, she shipped a bunch of stuff to our home in Barrington, Rhode Island.  She lives in California in a one bedroom condo and has nowhere to put the stuff from her ACK home so it gave her great joy, comfort and ease to know that her son, daughter-in-law and five grandchickens would enjoy all the things she'd accrued since they built their summer home in 1986.

A beautiful wooden armoir arrived in the moving van filled with Philippe's grandmother's ("Mimi") cocktail glasses.  So teeny tiny and dainty!  They must've drank teeny tiny cocktails back in the day, and many of them ha ha.  The glasses sat untouched in that armoir for 3 years and the other day I was like, "If we're keeping these, we're using 'em!"

So I drink my monk fruit sweetened hibiscus tea with a splash of apple cider vinegar all day in these cute little cocktail glasses and it makes me so happy! ✨🎉✨  Every time I take a sip I think of something to celebrate. The more you celebrate the more the Universe sends you to celebrate.

I preferred to attract something teeny with which to stir my bright red hibiscus tea in Mimi's teeny tiny cocktail glasses.  A metal straw was too big.  So was a teaspoon.  Some sort of little toothpick would do the trick, but a plain toothpick just wasn't "fancy" enough....hmmmm.  🤔

That night the Wells Party of 7 😊😊🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣  were out to dinner and one of the Chickens 🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣 ordered a kiddie cocktail (Shirley Temple) and said, "Mom! Look at this toothpick!  It's perfect for you!"

It had a teeny white rabbit on it.  My maiden name is Hare and the Chinese Year of the Rabbit (Hare) since I've been alive are:  1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, and 2023. The Year of the Rabbit (Hare) symbolizes longevity, positivity, and cleverness.  I also love to say "rabbit rabbit" on the first day of the month for good luck.  Yes, this toothpick had my name all over it.  😊  The next morning I realized that the cute little toothpick with which I could stir my red hibiscus tea in Mimi's sweet and oh-so-petite cocktail glasses had appeared effortlessly, thanks to a cooperative component (a Chicken 🐣 ordering a kiddie cocktail, noticing the toothpick, and giving it to me).

This synchronicity illustrates the magic of the flow of the Universe and how when we ask, it is given.  It may seem small and inconsequential but au contraire, there are no small - or big - things.  If you believe anything and everything is possible, that is relevant to you.
