Why Do You Seek the Approval of Others?

You often hear me say that your one true purpose in 3D Earth School (which is certainly a master class in limitation), is simply to be your authentic self, and however you express that is totally fine, and not really the point.  I explain that the point of being here now in this Earth School is to be 100% authentically you. That’s it.  And everything else will fall into place beautifully and magically from there – when you utilize the Complete Kit of Conscious Creation.  It’s a complete kit and you’re all set!

If when you hear me say this, you feel good, and relief, then why do you find yourself reverting back to those painful thoughts seeking the approval of others– again?

The answer is simple and so easy to shift.

They reason why you may find yourself reverting to seeking the peanut gallery’s approval is due to the “motivational mechanism,” which is at work within every being in the multiverse. The motivational mechanism states simply that you will never continue to do anything for one second longer than you believe that it serves you.  The key word is BELIEVE.

So the way to explore what belief is driving you to choose a practice (seeking the approval of the peanut gallery) that does not serve you and in fact, results in suffering, is to ask yourself, “What am I getting out of seeking others’ approval?”

If you are open and honest with yourself, the answer will come.  Sometimes the answer is that you stay “there” (seeking others’ approval) because it’s more familiar and safe.  You have convinced yourself that it’s too scary to choose to focus on what feels good to you, what is authentic.  You also may feel that by following the five steps of conscious creation with precision, and thereby, living your BEST LIFE EVER (the result of creating consciously), you will make others uncomfortable, because “misery loves company.”*

My answer to this (as always take what you want and leave the rest) is the utilize the profund and wise two word mantra.  Are you ready for it?  You sure?  Ok, here it is.  Do you have a pencil to write it down?

All right.  If you feel you will cause others discomfort by being authentic, following the formula, and living your BEST LIFE, you may utilize this two word mantra:

“So what.”

So what!

Why are you making your life conditional on someone else’s issues?

I’ll leave you with that…choose to be open and honest and once your answer makes no sense, you will no longer choose to believe such nonsense, and you will live a life of ease, joy and highest excitement.  And remember, the nicest, kindest, most generous and thoughtful thing you may do for another, is to be authentically you and live your BEST LIFE.

*If misery loves company so much, it should serve better snacks.  😊
